It is around 1.5 hrs drive from Trichy.  In my opinion every Indian should be proud of the fresco painting at the rock cut Jain shrine in the hill and marvelous cube shaped rock cut hall.

I am wonder stuck when the guide hum without opening his lips the vibration was penetrating us.  But the person a step outside this hall is unable to either hear or feel that hum.

The spectacular Narathamalai (near Pudukottai)

This site has the architectural pieces of Pallavas & Cholas... It is situated in a very spectacular area.  Very good for mini trecking.

Ancient burial sites near Pudukottai

This is an ancient burial sites near Pudukottai.  There exists an ASI notice board, but no clue what was that site all about!!!

Begur Temple at Bangalore

Hi,

The Pancha lingeswara temple at Begur (Bangalore) seems to be an historical temple.  It architectural style and stone inscriptions gives a clue that this an historical temple. Not sure why it is not captured the attention of Arch. Survey of India.
